Timo Schwindt, a certified beer sommelier based in Germany, approached us to help name
and design the brand for his new venture. With a passion for brewing traditions, beer history, and sensory enjoyment, he hosts tastings and seminars that turn beer drinking into a rich cultural experience,
often in collaboration with local restaurants and hotels.
The Approach
Looking to establish a strong foundation for his new venture, German beer sommelier Timo Schwindt turned to us for naming and brand design. With a deep passion for brewing traditions, beer history, and sensory enjoyment, he wanted a brand that reflected his tastings and seminars, which transform beer drinking into a cultural experience often hosted in collaboration with local restaurants and inns.
We developed the name Crown, Craft, Culture to capture the essence of his work: the foam crown of a perfect pour, the craftsmanship of brewing, and the lifestyle surrounding beer appreciation. The logo combined a hop cone with a crown, creating a distinct symbol that ties directly to the beer world while emphasizing the artisanal and cultural roots of his approach.
The Impact
Through the name, visual identity, and supporting merchandise, we launched his business with a brand that feels premium, memorable, and true to his mission. The result positioned Timo strongly in the market, providing him with the tools to stand out and connect with audiences who value both tradition and culture in beer.
